General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all entrants, ticket purchasers, sponsors, partners, and attendees of the UK Wedding Awards.
By submitting an entry, purchasing a ticket, or engaging with the UK Wedding Awards in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
The UK Wedding Awards reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this website.
Award Entries
• All entries must be submitted via the official UK Wedding Awards website.
• Entry fees are non-refundable once submitted.
• Entry into a category does not guarantee nomination, finalist status, or a win.
• Businesses may enter multiple categories, subject to payment of the relevant entry fee per category.
• Entries must be accurate, truthful, and represent the business entered.
• The UK Wedding Awards reserve the right to disqualify any entry found to contain false or misleading information.
Eligibility
• Entries are open to wedding professionals and businesses operating within the UK.
• Entrants must comply with all applicable laws, licences, and professional standards relevant to their industry.
• Specific eligibility criteria may apply to individual categories and will be stated on the category page.
Judging Process
• All entries are assessed using a structured judging process.
• Judges are selected based on industry knowledge, experience, and professionalism.
• Judging decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding scores, rankings, or outcomes.
• No judge has sole decision-making authority over results.
• Sponsorship, advertising, or ticket purchases do not influence judging outcomes.
Finalists & Winners
• Finalists and winners will be notified using the contact details provided at entry.
• The UK Wedding Awards reserve the right to reallocate, withhold, or revoke awards in exceptional circumstances.
• Winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility if requested.
Tickets & Attendance
• All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
• Tickets are transferable only with prior written approval from the UK Wedding Awards.
• The UK Wedding Awards reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.
• Dress code requirements may apply and will be communicated in advance of the event.
Sponsorship
• Sponsorship agreements are subject to separate contractual terms.
• Sponsorship does not guarantee awards, finalist placement, or judging influence.
• The UK Wedding Awards reserve the right to approve or decline sponsorship applications.
Intellectual Property & Promotion
• By entering the awards, you grant the UK Wedding Awards permission to use your business name, logo, images, and supplied materials for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes.
• This includes (but is not limited to) website content, social media, press releases, and printed materials.
• Entrants retain ownership of their intellectual property.
Data Protection
• Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
• Information provided will be used solely for awards administration, communication, and related promotional activity.
• Data will not be sold or shared with third parties unrelated to the awards.
Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting the UK Wedding Awards or using the unsubscribe option provided in communications.
Liability
• The UK Wedding Awards accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained at the awards event, except where required by law.
• The UK Wedding Awards are not responsible for technical issues, system failures, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
